The power of words - Pussy Riot

On February 12, 2012, five young women entered the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow. "Punk prayer" was performed in neon-colored clothing, stockings, and masks. They begged "Mother of God" to free them from Putin. They were quickly shut down by security guards. The three of them were arrested and brought to justice. The punishment of the two of them was a far-flung penitentiary. The case immediately made headlines in the international press, with video footage spreading like a virus. Many of their millions of followers have recognized that the members of Pussy Riot are not only fierce political opponents but also artists.
