Csontváry

Based on the narration of Kossuth Prize-winning writer Ferenc Buda, we can get to know the incomparable creator of Hungarian painting, Kosztka Tivadar Csontváry. At the age of almost forty, Csontváry decided to choose a new profession. Following his father's example, one could say as a family tradition, he had been successfully practicing his learned profession, pharmacy, for many years. However, after a miraculous turning point, leaving his previous life behind, he set off for Europe on foot to fulfill his destiny and become one of the most outstanding individuals of Hungarian painting.
