Inherited fate

When we begin to research the cause of our stallions, anxieties, faulty relationships, and recurring failures, it often turns out that what is happening in our own lives does not provide a proper explanation. In such cases, it is worth examining the broader perspective as well, and exploring the life events of our parents, grandparents, or even previous generations. In most cases, we will be shocked - as the results of modern research prove - that the traumas, unprocessed fears and relationship breaks of our ancestors do not go away even with their death, but live on in us. The former persecution of war manifests itself in our lives in the form of depression, the trauma of deportation in constant distrust, the loss of attachment of the orphaned grandmother in relationship failures, the hidden story of the suicidal grandfather in panic disorder - to name just a few possible examples. It is clear to me today that the fate of no human being can be understood without a transgenerational approach. If we want to get rid of our torturous symptoms or change our disturbing behavioral and emotional patterns, we need to explore our family’s past. This is often not an easy task because we carry with us many secrets, unspoken tensions, and pass them on from generation to generation. And taboo topics prevent us from connecting with each other and ourselves in a healthy and honest way. In this book, I would like to guide the reader through a transgenerational path of self-knowledge so that he or she can take action in his or her own life and correct negative emotional attitudes and behavior patterns inherited from the past.
